I caught a big mess of bass on this pre-spawn day in the Spring of 2011.  The bass would not hit my JignPig or any other vertical or drag presentation on this day.  So I have learned to switch up to small shallow running crankbaits.  I caught lots and lots of bass on the Mann's Baby Minus-1.  I went into the shallow/flooded water that offered stick-ups and brush/bushes... and whacked-'em!  It was one of my most memorable days of 2011.  I caught (and released) about 40-pounds of bass!  Most of them (I'm guessing) weighed between 1.5-pounds and 3.5-pounds.  And man did it keep me busy.
